The Project of Research on Construction of the Safety Management System of Polar Expedition has been carried out successfully by CASST at Antarctic.

Mr. Zhang Peng, a senior engineer of CASST has participated in the 33rd Antarctic Expedition of China. It would been more than three months since he started his journey to Antarctic on November 2nd, 2016 for an expedition by taking the XUELONG Exploration ship launched from Shanghai. Via Fremantle Port, he has arrived several stations, e.g. Zhongshan Station in Antarctica, Great Wall Station in Antarctica, Ross Sea. 

He has successfully done the phased completion of his expedition, mainly including safety training for his expedition team members, safety investigation and guidance for Antarctic expedition activities, safety assessment of the operation of the Great Wall Station, safety summarization and analysis of expedition activities, etc.
